Democratic Party to host Scott and Pyska Feb. 12

LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Lake County Democratic Party will host District 4 Supervisor Tina Scott and District 5 supervisorial candidate Jessica Pyska at the Programs & Recruitment Committee meeting on Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. in Lower Lake.

Both Scott and Pyska are candidates for positions on the Lake County Board of Supervisors in the March primary.

Tina Scott has been serving since January 2017 and is running for re-election. Pyska has been active on the Cobb Area Council since its formation in 2016. Both candidates have been endorsed by the Democratic Party of Lake County.

This event gives all residents an opportunity to meet and engage with these candidates.

Each will discuss her many efforts on behalf of all Lake County residents and will be open for questions.

California’s primary election is March 3. Most vote-by-mail citizens will have their ballots by Feb. 12. This is a chance to become informed.

All are welcome. Enjoy snacks, libations and a relaxed open atmosphere for interaction.

The Programs Committee of the Lake County Democratic Party meets every second Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Social Hall of the United Methodist Church, 16255 2nd St. All meetings are open to the public.

Associate membership in the Lake County Democratic Central Committee is open to registered Democrats and dues are $30/annually.
