UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting people to work as census takers for the 2020 federal Census.

Lake County residents interested in applying for the 2020 Census operation are invited to attend an informational presentation at the Upper Lake branch of the Lake County Library on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from noon to 5 p.m. at 310 Second St.

The Census Bureau’s Lake County recruiter, Jan Brelsford, will talk about how to apply to be a census taker and what the job entails.

People can apply online at www.2020census.gov.jobs. One application is good for the entire 2020 Census operation.
