NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Tree work from Route 53 South to Walker Ridge Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Tree work from Hofacker Lane to Route 53 North Lower Lake will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Route 281 North Soda Bay Road to Route 175 Southeast on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and Wednesday, Feb. 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Hill Road Undercrossing to Lucerne Undercrossing will occur on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
Highway 175
– Guardrail work will occur from Grouss Springs Road to Putah Creek Bridge beginning Tuesday, Feb. 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Tree work from Arroyo Vista Road to Santa Clara Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Culvert repair from Curley Lane to Iverson Avenue, Point Arena, will begin Tuesday, Feb. 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Albion Little River Road to North of Albion on Friday, Feb. 21. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work on culvert will occur approximately one-half mile North of the Albion River Bridge beginning Tuesday, Feb. 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Litter removal from Road 144 to Road A/Road 231 on Thursday, Feb. 20. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
Highway 101
– Litter removal from Route 20 East to Uva Drive will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Eastbound lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Caltrans wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise above.
