LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Following the advice of federal, state, and local health officials, Redbud Audubon Society has canceled all activities until further notice.
This includes the program meeting that was planned for Thursday, March 19, in Lower Lake at the Methodist Church Social Hall as well as the Saturday, March 21, field trip to Highland Springs Reservoir.
The very popular Heron Days event, slated for April 25 and 26 and May 2 and May 3, has also been canceled.
“We are very sorry that we will be unable to present this wonderful event to the public, but we feel the responsible and caring thing to do is to cancel our events because of the current situation created by the COVID-19 outbreak,” said Redbud Audubon President Roberta Lyons.
Anyone who has already purchased tickets for the Heron Days pontoon boat rides will be fully reimbursed.
