NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
Caltrans wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise above.

LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Guardrail work near the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Highway construction from B Street to Spruce Grove Road North will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Spruce Grove Road North to Route 53 North Lower Lake will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Seigler Creek Bridge to Seigler Canyon Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Highway Construction from Route 281 to Private Drive will continue. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Guardrail work from Highland Springs Road to Seigler Canyon Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Park Way Overcrossing to Mockingbird Lane will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
Highway 175
– Highway work from North Route 29 to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Guardrail work from Access Road to Road A – Road 231 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 101
– K-rail installation at Geysers Road will begin Friday, May 1. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Guardrail work from Geysers Road to Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. Northbound lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Drainage work from Comminsky Station Road to Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Guardrail work from Pieta Creek Bridge to Geysers Road will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Guardrail work from Long Valley Creek Bridge to Old Sherwood Road will begin Wednesday, May 6. Northbound and Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 128
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Philo School Road to East Limits Philo beginning Monday, May 4. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Guardrail work from Bloody Run Creek Bridge to South Eel River Bridge will begin Monday, May 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
