Orphan Dog to host no-cost June clinics for Lake County pets

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The local animal rescue organization Orphan Dog is organizing no-cost wellness clinics for pets during the first week of June.

They will offer vaccinations and exams. No surgeries will be performed.

The group said they can accommodate about 30 pets per day and may have 10 days available if enough people sign up.

They currently are gathering information and determining how many people need to access care in order to schedule how many days are necessary in each area of the county.

Right now, they are planning on spending a day or two in Lakeport at two separate locations, as well as visiting Upper Lake, Middletown and Clearlake.

ElleVet Sciences is sponsoring the exams and vaccinations. A licensed vet will be on the premises conducting the exams.
