NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise.

Caltrans will suspend most work on Northern California highways on Wednesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veteran's Day. However, in the case of unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary for Caltrans crews to respond to emergency situations.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 29

– Highway construction from Spruce Grove Road South to Hofacker Lane will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Highway Construction near the Route 281 junction will continue. One-way traffic controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Team Ghilotti has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for drainage work from Wild Cat Road to Private Road on Friday, Nov. 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Casa Dicaccia Road to Sunrise Vista Resort on Thursday, Nov. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Estates Road to Private Road on Tuesday, Nov. 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Putah Creek Bridge to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– Shoulder work from Old State Highway/Mendocino County Line to Mill Street, Point Arena will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Striping work from Mill Street. Point Arena to North Limits Elk will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Fence work from Navarro Ridge Road to Spring Grove Road on Friday, Nov. 6. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 pm. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Paving work from Ocean View Drive to Pudding Creek Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6. Lane controls will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Utility work from Alder Avenue to Redwood Avenue will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Paving work from Pudding Creek to De Haven Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Paving work from Geysers Road to East Side Road/Russian River will continue. Lane controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency road repairs due to wildfire from Ryan Creek Road to the entrance to Witra’s Hidden will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted an Encroachment Permit for utility work at Spyrock Road on Friday, Nov. 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic delays.
