Included‌‌ ‌‌are‌‌ ‌‌Mendocino‌‌ ‌‌County‌‌ ‌‌projects‌‌ ‌‌that‌‌ ‌‌may‌‌ ‌‌impact‌‌ ‌‌Lake‌‌ ‌‌County‌‌ ‌‌commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

— Utility work west of Upper Lake near Scotts Valley Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

— Utility work between Foothill Blvd. and Lake Street will occur on Friday, May 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 29

— Emergency work from Saint Helena Creek to Spruce Road will conclude on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

— Emergency work in Lower Lake from C Street to Spruce Road will conclude on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

— Road work north of Spruce Grove Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to five-minute delays.

— Emergency work from Route 53 in Lower Lake at Morgan Valley Road to Point Lakeview Road will conclude on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

— Emergency work from Route 53 in Lower Lake at Morgan Valley Road to Diener Road will occur on Monday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 20-minute delays.

— Road work east of Kelseyville at Route 281 will conclude on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

Highway 175

— Road work west of Mathews Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

— Paving work south of Iverson Road will begin on Monday, May 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect five-minute delays.

— Bridge work in Fort Bragg from Manzanita Street to Pudding Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to five-minute delays.

Highway 20

— Drainage work near Three Chop Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

— Emergency work from James Creek to Three Chop Road will conclude on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays.

Highway 101

— Irvine Lodge Safety Rest Area will be closed through June 2023.

— Bridge work from the Lowell Allen Memorial Bridge to Route 271 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists can expect minor slowdowns in the area.

— Emergency work between Piercy and Benbow near Milkyway Loop Road continues. One-way traffic control is in effect and motorists should expect up to five-minute delays.

Highway 162

— Road work south of Dos Rios near the Rodeo Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays.

— Road work between Howard Street and Mina Road will begin on Monday, May 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays.

— Tree work in Covelo will occur on Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays.

Highway 253

— Utility work south of Butler Ranch Road will occur on Thursday, May 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to five-minute delays.

DEL NORTE COUNTY

Highway 101

— Bridge work between Peine Road and Old Hunter Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays.

— Construction in the Last Chance Grade area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 25-minute delays.

Highway 197

— Emergency work near Goodlin Creek will continue. Lane closures will be in effect between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 20-minute delays.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY

Highway 36

— Paving near U.S. 101 will occur on Monday, May 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

— PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Johnson Road on Thursday, May 11 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

— Slipout repair near Burr Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 96

— Construction near Tish Tang Road will continue through Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays.

— Bridge work at Aiken Creek Bridge and Bluff Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

— Bridge work south of Phillipsville will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

— Paving work at Fortuna Overhead will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

— Drainage work from Palmer Blvd Undercrossing to Salmon Creek will continue. Lane closures will be in effect overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

— Paving work at Salmon Creek will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

— Construction from the Herrick Avenue Overcrossing to Broadway/5th will begin on Thursday, May 11. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

— Tree work between Norton Elementary School Road and Myers Lane will continue through Friday, May 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays.

— Tree work north of Mettah will begin on Monday, May 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 254

— Tree work near Miranda Bridge Road will occur on Friday, May 5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

— Slipout repair north of Miranda will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

— The Avenue of the Giants Marathon is permitted to close the highway from north of Myers Flat to north of Weott on Sunday, May 7 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should use an alternate route.

Highway 299

— Falsework installation at Route 200 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
