LAKEPORT, Calif. — The annual pancake breakfast to support the 4-H clubs of Lake County sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lakeport will be held on Saturday, May 25.

Kiwanis Club members, their friends and family will serve a delicious breakfast from 7 until 11 a.m. at the Silveira Community Center.

The Community Center (formerly the Bank of America) is located at 500 N. Main St. in Lakeport.

The menu includes all you can eat pancakes, ham or sausage, scrambled eggs, milk, juice and coffee, all for only $10.

Children age 5 years and younger may eat for free.

Tickets may be purchased in advance from members of the Kiwanis Club of Lakeport or members of any 4-H Club. Tickets will also be sold at the breakfast.

All profits from the breakfast are distributed to the 4-H clubs around the county.

“For approximately 40 years, this Memorial Day weekend event has been the perfect kickoff to summer,” said Kiwanis Club of Lakeport President Nancy Hendricks. “It’s an opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast, visit with friends and neighbors while supporting a valuable program for the youth of Lake County.”

The breakfast is followed by the annual Lakeport Memorial Day Parade traveling down Main Street.
