LAKEPORT, Calif. — The city of Lakeport is notifying the community of changes to the trash pickup schedule this week due to the holiday.

This week’s trash pickup schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday pickups are moved to Thursday
• Thursday pickups are moved to Friday
• Friday pickups are moved to Saturday

Christmas Tree Disposal is also happening this week and next week. Here’s how to prepare your tree:

• Remove all lights, ornaments and tinsel.
• Place your tree next to your totes on the curb or cut it down to fit inside the green tote if you prefer.
