
CLEARLAKE, Calif. — Eleven Roses Ranch will once again take visitors for a ride into history this spring.
Opening for the season on Saturday, April 12, you will step back in time on this historic ranch nestled in a secluded mountain valley near Clearlake Oaks.
This one-of-a-kind tour features a narrated, ranch wagon tour filled with history, spring-time wildflowers and breathtaking scenery.
When you arrive you will be treated like family while you enjoy complimentary local wines and refreshments.
Music is provided by local musicians Don Coffin on guitar and Andi Skelton on the fiddle.
Your hostess, Anne Garner, will tell you of her family, who settled the valley in 1883, along with local legends and lore.
You will meet draft mules John, Sally and Drew, who love your attention and picture taking.
Your day is complete with a chuck wagon barbecue topped off with Dutch oven cobbler for dessert.
This tour is very senior and family user friendly.
Reservations are required and tours fill up fast as the season is short.
Prices are $75 for adults, $40 for children aged 5 to 12, and children under 5 may ride for free with an adult or senior.
