NICE, Calif. — On Saturday, April 5, the Dean-O-Holics are coming to town.

The winners of the National Rising Star Award for the best Dean Martin/Frank Sinatra tribute will appear at Robinson Rancheria Resort Casino, supporting Operation Tango Mike.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for Salute to Service.

The evening will include a buffet dinner, one of a kind silent auction items, music and dancing.

Silent auction items include unique items created, crafted and donated by local veterans. There will also be gift certificates and special themed packages up for grabs.

Tickets are available online at www.rrrc.com or at the box office at Robinson Rancheria Resort Casino at 1545 Highway 20, in Nice.

What began as a gesture to show support to a few friends deployed to Afghanistan in 2003, has become a twenty-two year all volunteer community effort and has supported thousands of military personnel, and is known as Operation Tango Mike.

More than 27,000 care packages have been shipped to American heroes.

“Forget politics, support our troops,” is the mantra that has helped ensure that all are welcomed and appreciated at Operation Tango Mike functions. The effort does not involve politics and exists to support our troops and their families.
