LAKEPORT, Calif. — After more than two decades, a cherished Lakeport tradition is making its return.
The Lakeport July 4 Boat Parade will set sail along the scenic waterfront on Thursday, July 4, at 6 p.m., and everyone is invited to take part in the celebration.
All types of watercraft — from fishing boats and pontoons to kayaks and jet skis — are welcome to participate.
Show off your patriotic spirit by decking out your vessel in red, white, and blue and becoming part of this festive floating display.
“This event hasn’t taken place since the late 1990s,” said Steve Short, owner of Lakeport Tire and Auto, “and we’re excited to bring it back to the community as a fun and vibrant way to celebrate Independence Day on Clear Lake.”
Spectators are encouraged to gather at Library Park and along the waterfront for a front-row view of the parade as boats cruise from Xabatin Community Park to Library Park.
The 2025 Lakeport Boat Parade is proudly sponsored by Lakeport Tire and Auto Service.
