NORTH COAST, Calif. — Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.
Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless
noted otherwise.

LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
Route 20 (2/2.8) – Road work from west of Irvine Road to east of Mid Lake Road will conclude on Friday, October 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20KA
Highway 29
Route 29 (20/20.7) – Road work in Lower Lake from west of Jct Route 53 to Bell Park Avenue will begin on Sunday, October 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C29PA
Route 29 (25.1/27.8) – Tree work west of Lower Lake from DNA Ridge Rock to Jct Route 281 at Soda Bay Road will begin on Wednesday, October 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29BA
Route 29 (27.6/28) – Road work will begin west of Lower Lake near Jct Route 281 on Sunday, October 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29PA
Route 29 (34.4/34.8) – Road work in Kelseyville from north of Cruickshank Road to south of the Kelsey Creek Bridge 14-64 will begin on Sunday, October 19. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P29PA
Highway 175
Route 175 (8.4/16.9) – Tree work at various locations from Lower Lake Road to Harrington Flat Road will begin on Monday, October 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P175BA
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
Route 1 (1/3.2) – Tree work at various locations from Gualala at Ocean Drive to Pirates Drive will begin on Monday, October 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
Route 1 (2.2) – Utility work will occur at Big Gulch Road on Friday, October 24. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P1BA

Route 1 (58.7/58.9) – Road work in Fort Bragg near Ocean Drive will begin on Tuesday, October 21. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C1LB
Route 1 (59.6/59.8) – Culvert work will occur in Fort Bragg at Jct Route 20 on Friday, October 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#X1DA

Highway 101
U.S. 101 (3.8) – Drainage and pavement work are scheduled at the Klamath Beach Road interchange near Klamath. The northbound on and off-ramps will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should use alternate routes when necessary and expect minor delays. LC#C101FE
