Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes after you send in your “draft application”?

Join the Lake County Genealogical Society for this month’s Life in the Past Lane program on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Large Conference Room of the Agricultural Center, 885 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport.

This month’s speaker, Jean Albert, a member of the Lake County Genealogical Society and Registrar for "The Pilgrim John Howland Society," will share insights into how applications are reviewed in connection with the Mayflower Society. 

Attendees will gain a behind-the-scenes look at the verification process and learn valuable tips for preparing successful lineage society applications.

The program is free and open to the public.
