CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Golden State Water Co. recently donated to the Hope Center to help individuals experiencing homelessness in the Clearlake community.
Operated by Adventist Health Clear Lake, the Hope Center is a vital resource for residents, offering housing assistance and support services to those in need.
Golden State Water provided the Hope Center with a $2,400 donation, along with an additional $400 to support meals during the holiday season.
The donation will support the Hope Center’s ongoing operations, including meals, warm bedding and essential items to assist the homeless community in Clearlake.
The Hope Center’s mission is centered on improving health, fostering self-sufficiency, helping individuals find employment and transitioning into sustainable housing.
“We are tremendously grateful for Golden State Water’s donation to support those experiencing homelessness in Clearlake,” said Faith Hornby, philanthropy manager at Adventist Health Clear Lake. “This will allow us to continue providing critical resources for vulnerable individuals to begin the new year with comfort and stability.”
