NORTH COAST, Calif. — Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.
Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise.

LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
Route 20 (14.6/15) – Utility work will occur in Nice near Lakeshore Boulevard on Monday, March 9. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20DA
Route 20 (24.9/25.4) – Utility work will occur from Harvey Boulevard to Henderson Drive on Wednesday, March 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20DA
Route 20 (28/28.4) – Utility work in Clearlake Oaks will occur from High Valley Road to Oakgrove Avenue on Tuesday, March 10. Westbound lane closures will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P20DA
Highway 175
Route 175 (7.4/7.9) – Tree work in Lakeport will occur east of Dixon Drive on Monday, March 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P175CA
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
Route 1 (60.2/62.6) – Emergency work south of Elk continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#T1BA
Route 1 (44.2/44.5) – Utility work will occur north of Albion Little River Road on Tuesday, March 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1DA
Route 1 (60.2/62.6) – Utility work in Fort Bragg at various locations from the Noyo River Bridge 10-176 to Pudding Creek Road will occur on Friday, March 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1PA

Highway 20
Route 20 (33.1/34.1) – Utility work in Willits from South Street to Alder Lane continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20NA

U.S. 101 (17.2/59.5) – Utility work at various locations from north of Nelson Ranch Road to south of Big Trails Drive continues with lane closures and minor slowdowns.
