NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.
Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise.

LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
Route 20 (16.6/18.1) – Sign work in Lucerne from Grove Street to Ogden Road will begin on Monday, March 16. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20TA
Highway 29
Route 29 (38.6) – Traffic signal work will occur in Lakeport at Highland Springs Road on Monday, March 16. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C29A

Route 53 (5) – Traffic signal work in Clearlake at Ogulin Canyon Road will occur on Thursday and Friday, March 19-20. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C53BA
Highway 175
Route 175 (14.5/15) – Tree work will occur near Salmina Road on Friday, March 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P175CA

Route 281 (15.3) – Tree work in Clearlake Riviera at Tenaya Way will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17-18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C281AA
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
Route 1 (30.6/32.3) – Emergency work south of Elk continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#T1BA
Route 1 (60.2/62.6) – Utility work in Fort Bragg at various locations from the Noyo River Bridge 10-176 to Pudding Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1PA
Route 1 (75.9/76.2) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA
Route 1 (78.1/78.4) – Emergency work in Westport at Wages Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1BB
Highway 20
Route 20 (33.1/34.1) – Utility work in Willits from South Street to Alder Lane continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20NA
