CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Community members are invited to attend a free educational program focused on maintaining brain health and building habits that support memory and cognitive function.
The program, “Building Brain-Healthy Habits,” will take place on Wednesday, March 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Lake County Library’s Redbud Branch, 14785 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake.
Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, this informative session will highlight research-based lifestyle habits that may help protect memory and thinking as people age.
Studies show that everyday choices – such as regular exercise, healthy eating, and maintaining heart health – can play a role in reducing the risk of cognitive decline and possibly dementia.
During the program, participants will learn about:
• Healthy lifestyle habits that support brain health;
• The connection between heart health and brain function;
• Why brain health matters at every stage of life;
• How to build a personalized action plan for maintaining brain-healthy habits.
The event is open to the public and designed for anyone interested in learning practical ways to support long-term brain health.
