Opinion
Tuesday marked one year since our son, brother, godson, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend's body was found in San Jose, California.
Jim, you have not and will not ever be forgotten. You are in our hearts and minds daily.
A candle burns for you everyday and will until I am no longer on this earth. I have not given up and will never believe this was an accident. Someday, someone or something will come to light and we will know the truth. We live each day for you and will someday be able to put you to rest properly.
We miss you so much, you gave so much love to us in the last years of your life and the last months were so unforgettable. I can only hope you felt the same love by all of us.
As we marked this day I visited the site for the first time. I feel I am ready for this now and hope this "last first" will ease some of my pain. I feel you around me as I know John and your Dad does too. All of your friends truly miss you and I know love you just as much as we do. An annual reunion will begin this year to honor your memory, thanks to your GBS family. Jim, we miss you and love you.
Remember "I will love you till forever's gone.”
With our love and prayers, Mom, Dad and John.

We at Middletown Florist & Gifts would like to take this opportunity to thank all local artists who show their work in our shop.
The fourth annual Art Reception was held March 25 in honor of our local artists.
Villa La Brenta was on hand to pour a glass of wine for shoppers and artists alike.
While many businesses would have you believe 2009 was a bust, we are happy to say it proved to be a record year for Middletown Florist & Gifts.
We say: Thank You!
We are a single-location, independent store dedicated to courteous and thoughtful service and to finding unique products that honor the creative spirit in all of us and in all of nature.
You will find that a large percentage of our selections come from small companies and from independent artists and craftspeople.
We like their personal involvement with the product(s) and their willingness to work with us to guarantee your satisfaction with any item you purchase.
We welcome your comments and suggestions. We wouldn't be here if it were not for all our loyal customers and artists.
After the holidays passed we went through the shop and discovered that over 75 percent of our shop is priced under $25. So again, thank you and we look forward to serving your needs in the future.
