Proposition 215 contained no limits on medical marijuana, leaving dosage up to the doctor. A legislative action, SB 420, imposed the limits you name along with a voluntary ID card program. Since the California Constitution (Article 2, Section 10) rules that a voter mandate cannot be changed by a mere legislative action, it is legally arguable that only those who sign up for the state ID program are bound by SB 420 limits.
What has held up in court, based on Drug Enforcement Administration yield studies, is 100 square feet of plant canopy per patient. The federal government continues to provide six pounds or more yearly to several patients in Investigational New Drug program, begun in the 1970s.
In any case, why is the FBI enforcing California state law?

Suddenly a drunk driver, speeding 80 to 100 mph in a truck, crashed into us from behind on the passenger side and put us into a spin into oncoming traffic, where we collided with another truck, totaling our vehicle. Five years ago our daughter was "T-boned" at that same intersection by another drunk driver. Thankfully we are all alive and not severely physically disabled.
I have been in contact with Ed Robey, our current District 1 Supervisor, regarding getting some warning signs or flashing "oncoming intersection" signals posted. I was told by Ed that our intersection is scheduled to receive widening and/or turning lane upgrades sometime after spring of 2008 and that he had no other ideas on what else he could do.
In my opinion, that is too long and there's always something that can be done. People's lives are at stake every day on our highly traveled roads and something needs to be done now about unsafe intersections on Highway 29. How much can a solar-powered flashing warning signal cost? I'm sure there is money in the county or state budget somewhere to put up some kind of warning signals soon for everyone's safety. Accidents occur at our location on almost a monthly basis and I sincerely hope (yet seriously doubt) that my family is the last to be affected by this unsafe intersection. Another year is too long to wait and one life spared would be well worth the cost and effort of a few warning signals.
If public safety is a "genuine" concern of the supervisors then what are we waiting for?
Please contact Ed Robey and the other Lake County supervisors to show your support for more expedient action at the dangerous intersection of Hidden Valley Lake and Highway 29 or any other unsafe locations in our county. Contact Robey at 707-263-2368,
With your support, together we can make things happen. Public safety is one of my No. 1 concerns.
PS – Never drink and drive and please buckle up for safety.

It should not be forgotten that he is also a past Poet Laureate of Lake County. I have had the pleasure of giving, selling and recommending his work to many people, and they always ratify how much they they were both pleased and impressed.

It was the most exciting sporting competition we have ever witnessed.
The wakeboard, slalom, “last man standing,” the skydiving, motorcycle jumps, motorcycle stunts, BMX bike show and the finals of the wakeboard competition filled our day with excitement and amazement at the expertise of these young professionals.
The event organizers only lamented the low lake level as it limited the height of the waves and made it less challenging.
The venue at Konocti Vista Casino was well planned and we only had to turn our chairs to watch the on-the-water show and then to see the on-land competition and show.
The no alcohol rule on land was adhered to and made our enjoyment truly a family event.
We realize that the reputation of prior BoardStock events prohibited many local residents from attending, but we urge everyone to welcome BoardStock in 2008, if it is held once again at Konocti Vista Casino and is earlier in the year, perhaps in July or August.
We cannot compliment the Boardstock organizers, the Konocti Vista Staff and the sponsors (Toyota and Centurion Boats) enough for their professionalism and expertise.
Judging by the empty parking lots, the half-filled bleacher seats, the vendors with no lines and the free giveaways with few takers, we have to conclude the event may have lost money. If that is so, we still hope they will come back next year.
When BoardStock returns, we hope ALL of Lake County's residents will join our family in supporting and enjoying these young competitors.
Lake County and Clear Lake is an outstanding location for this type of competition and we need more national and international event organizers to recognize this fact.
But they will not come unless we attend and make this profitable.
