As a longtime friend of Justin Vibbert, I find it rather alarming that in his death your article had to end with his demons. He may have had his vices, but as person, he was an amazing son, father and friend. His laughter was infectious and though he had a tough guy exterior, his heart was enormous. You wouldn't know this about him, I understand you are just doing your job, but I'm disappointed by the fact that his last memories are those that have been tarnished by the media's portrayal of who he "must have" been.
As a fellow media professional, with a BA in Journalism, I know what I'm talking about. I'm asking, that you take note of what you are writing, knowing that people close to the victim may be reading. Justin's untimely death at such a young age, has devastated me, and although I cannot speak for the remainder of his friends or family, I can assure you the feelings are shared. He will be missed by all.
