Morse: Black Bart needs a home

In June of this year a longtime Kelseyville High School teacher, Mary Pat Adams, passed away unexpectedly after battling a long illness.

Mary Pat had no family here. She left behind her dear kitty, Black Bart. Her dogs were dealt with but I don't think anyone knew about her cat.

After weeks of looking for him as I drove by the house, I saw him at the end of June, starving, wounded, very sick and extremely weak.

I have been stopping by his house mornings and evenings to feed him and give him a little attention. He is fat and happy again and doing very well. I am hoping there is someone out there who will give him the love he needs.

Black Bart is an older male, neutered and very friendly. He clearly misses his mom and I am hoping there is someone out there who will adopt him.

Please call me if you have any questions or would like to meet him.

Mary Morse owns Kelseyville Appliance in Kelseyville, Calif. You can contact her about Black Bart at telephone 707-278-0411 or 707-279-8559.
