LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Clyde Lee Clemons (Baby Doll) was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully March 29, 2018, at home surrounded by family.

When Clyde was 5 years old he traveled in an old Model A with his parents, a few siblings and a dog from Oklahoma to Brentwood, Calif.

Clyde grew up in Brentwood and his family would vacation and deer hunt up at Blue Lakes in Lake County.

In 1951 at Blue Lakes he met his soulmate, best friend and love of his life, Jeanne. In 1952 they were married and were so for an amazing 66 years.

Clyde and Jeanne lived in the Bay Area for 32 years and raised three children.

They had a summer home in Clearlake that they retired to in 1984.

Clyde worked and owned his own tire business for 30 years and later semi-retired he started his own handyman service.

Clyde leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Jeanne Clemons; children, Karen Morrell, Rick Clemons and John Clemons (Cheryl McAlice); grandchildren, Christine Gonzales (Edward Gonzales), Jason Clemons and Brandon Clemons (Sara Clemons); great-grandchildren, Elias Lee Clemons, Willie “Clyde” Gonzales and Jayden Paige Clemons; sisters, Evelyn Clemons and Carol Wofford; cousin, Joan Aylworth (Jim Aylworth); and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held with family.
