1975-2024

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Micheal “Mike” James Pommier, 48, passed away on Feb. 3, 2024, after a well fought battle with cancer. Mike lived, loved and fought fiercely.

He was born Aug. 19, 1975, in Santa Clara, California, to Teresa Wells and Joseph Pommier. He was the only child of that union. However, he did have three half-brothers and a half-sister.

He was raised in Lakeport, California, by his grandparents Phyliss and Joseph Pommier, who preceded him in death.

Mike never married; however, he was in a long-term relationship with the love of his life, Deirdra “Dee-Dee” Mahan-Pommier.

Mike is survived by his son, John Pommier; daughters, Rebecca Bisaccio and Serenity Pommier; as well as bonus children, Trinity, Stormi, Schuyler and Nathanyll. Mike leaves his children with a rich genetic heritage.

Mike was involved as a soccer and t-ball coach for his children. He was an avid Raider fan and enjoyed attending football games and collecting memorabilia throughout the years.

He famously scored four touchdowns in a single game for Polk High School in Chicago during the 1966 City Championships.

Mike will be greatly missed in his absence and may he rest in peace.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In honor of his memory, please consider donations to the Konocti Youth Soccer League.
