LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Deveta is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Billy Jack) Weeks of Lucerne; granddaughters, Bobie (Robert) Morris of North Pole, Alaska, Barbie (Bryan) Zavala of Hidden Valley Lake, Calif., and Beverly (Keith) Gatlin of Mesa, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren, Mathew Zavala, Justin Morris, Nathen Zavala, Haley Morris and Riley Morris.
She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Tyler; daughter, Carol Ann; sisters, Leota Askins and VonDella Stone; brother, Lonzo “Sonny” Hinkle; and parents, Clemmie Bittle and Lonzo Hinkle.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Upper Lake Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Father, son and brother passed away on Nov. 25, 2015, at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa.
John was born Feb. 25, 1961, in Arcata, Calif., was raised in Orick and graduated from McKinleyville High School in 1979.
His family moved to Clearlake in 1979 and John went to work for Mt. Konocti Growers in Kelseyville for more than 20 years before getting his commercial drivers license and moving to Aberdeen, Wash.
Later John moved back to Arcata and drove chip truck for Bettendorf Trucking. He had a triple bypass in 2009 and had been unable to return to work.
John leaves behind his son, Johnny Mahoney Jr.; his mother, Barbara Mahoney; sister, JoAnna Mahoney-Schleif; nephew, Walker Schleif; his Aunt Pat and Aunt Nancy. He also leaves behind his grade school friend, Rodney Baker from Orick, and many cousins and friends.
John was buried at OceanView Cemetery in Eureka, near his father Jim and brother Jerry, grandparents, and an aunt and uncle.
A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Danny Bishop's home, 15823 Lawrence Road in Lower Lake.
Friends and family are welcome, bring your stories to share. Come and celebrate John's life.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Dennis Eugene Nell entered into rest in Saint Helena on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at the age of 66.
Born in Kewanee, Illinois, he was a resident of Lake County for 37 years and was formerly from Anaheim, Calif.
Dennis served his country and served two years in the US Army in Vietnam.
He was a loving father. He worked as a driller in the oil and steam rigs for many years.
Dennis is survived by his daughters, JoAnn Nell of Lower Lake, Calif., Celeste Hamp of Flint, MI, and Jamie Fielden of Clearlake, Calif.; and sons, John Nell and Tony Kelly, both of Clearlake. Dennis is also survived by five grandchildren.
Friends and family are warmly invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, Feb. 20, beginning at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Konocti Post 437, 14770 Austin Road, Clearlake.
Dennis’ family would appreciate memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 311 California St., No. 650, San Francisco, CA 94104.
