KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – George Lee Haskett, 81, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and a native of Clearwater, Fla., passed away with his family at his side at his home in Kelseyville on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015.
George leaves his loving wife, Dixie Haskett; one daughter, Gina Haskett of Reno; three sons, Ron of Kelseyville, Don of Oregon and Rick of Lower Lake. George also leaves grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.
He is preceded in death by three children, Daryl, Bobby and Doug.
A member of the Good Guy Car Club and an avid NASCAR enthusiast, George loved hunting, fishing and trips to the Gold Country with his family, where the panned for gold and many good times.
You may know him from his vintage 46 Ford Coupe or from the 50 years that he worked in the lumber industry, including Piedmont Lumber where he continued to make many friends, a job he really loved.
George served two tours with the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Kelseyville Cemetery, with military honors.
A reception will follow at the Kelseyville Lyons Club on Sylar Lane.

NICE, Calif. – God has lead another angel through his gates.
Felicia Walker (Pizza) born March 14, 1957, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, peacefully in her sleep at the age of 58 in Nice, Calif.
Felicia attended Balboa High School where she graduated in 1974.
She spent most of her life in the Bay Area and in 1980 gave birth to her first daughter, Nikki, in San Francisco.
In 1985, she moved to Tacoma, Wash., on where she gave birth to her second daughter, Sparkle, in 1988.
She will be remembered for her natural ability to touch the hearts of many, young and old. She loved anything that had to do with outdoors but her passions were fishing, camping and cooking for her family and friends.
Felicia was proceeded in death by her father, William Biard; stepfather, Henry Harrison; and her brother, Gregory Sewell.
She is survived by her husband, David Walker; mother, Edna Harrison; three brothers, Gary Polk, Michael Harrison and Herman Harrison; one sister, Carmen Harrison; two daughters, Nieko Santos and Sparkle Carpenter; four grandchildren, Angelia, Kai, Jayden and Kamaya.
Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Monday, Dec. 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Upper Lake Cemetery.
