LAKEPORT, Calif. – Kenny lost his long battle with cancer on Saturday, June 27, 2015, surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa; sons, Michael, Vincent (Ellen) and Leon; daughter, Maryann (Marion); grandchildren, Nathan, Eileen, Edward, Rachel, Ander and Lumen; mother, Charlotte; siblings, Phyllis, Shirley, Ortence, Emy, Nora, Luella, Jason, Maureen, Julia, Anna, Thomas and Anita, along with too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and coworkers to list individually!

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Houghton and Sybil, and his dad, Kenneth.

He was a life-long Native dancer, tule boat builder and bead worker. He took great pride in his Pomo culture and family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone at UCSF Cancer Center who helped us through this long battle and for always treating us with current information, kindness and best care ever!

We would also like to say thank you to all who donated to help us financially get through this journey.

Visitation will be at 1407 Mission Way, Lakeport, Tuesday through 10 a.m. Friday, July 3. A graveside service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 3295 Highway 175, Lakeport.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Rockney August Luciani died on June 19, 2015, after battling chronic illness for many years.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1954, in Healdsburg, Calif., to Eugene and Olga Luciani.

He lived in Sonoma County for most of his life, working as a plumber and then as a surprisingly talented cosmetologist until relocating in Lake County in 2006.

He was a dedicated father with a profound sense of spirituality and a wacky sense of humor.

Rocky, as he was called, was predeceased by his father, Eugene; and his sister, Pamela.

He is survived by his mother, Olga; his sister, Linda; and his brother, Rodney. But his heart will always belong to his two beautiful daughters, Hillary Dewitte and Talya Luciani. He will be with them always.

We know that you stayed with us as long as you could, Rocky. You fought the good fight and it’s time for you to rest now. May you find peace.
