Anthony John Brown, age 67, passed into the spirit world Saturday, November 22, 2014, in Modesto, Calif.
A native of Sulpher Bank, Anthony was a resident of Lake County, Calif., for 52 years.
Anthony is survived by his only daughter, Rosario Gallo of Whittier, Calif.; sisters, Mable Fourkiller and Sarah Brown Garcia, both of Lower Lake, Calif.; brothers, Nathan Brown I of Lower Lake and Carter Brown Sr. of Chico, Calif.
He also is survived by three granddaughters, a great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews (Browns, Garcias and Fourkillers).
A private service and burial will be held.
Arrangements under the care of Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Evelyn D. Cole passed away Nov. 13, 2014, at the age of 89, due to complications after surgery.
She was born in Spring Hill, Iowa, and attended Granger High School where she met the love of her life, Clint Cole.
They were married January 4, 1945 in Madera, Calif., when Clint returned from the South Pacific during World War II after being wounded.
They moved to Finley, Calif., in 1946 where they met their longtime friends, Bill and Alice Sperling. They all camped hunted and took trips together for many years. They traveled to Alaska and Hawaii with Bill and Alice and have wonderful memories.
Evelyn worked in the munitions factory in Iowa and also picked walnuts for many local ranches.
She enjoyed ceramics, oil painting, photography and the Finley Sewing Club.
Evelyn leaves behind her children, Paula Cole and Ken (Melanie) Cole; sister, Bonnie Herrold; nephew, Randy Herrold, both from Granger, Iowa; grandchildren, Natalie (Brad) Catalane, Nicole McKeon, Merissa (Jeremy) Peek, all from Washington, Lucas (Amber) Cole, Clint (Jamie) Cole, Kathie (Craig) Cole, Tim Koich and Tonya Koich; 10 beloved great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Bill and Cora Shipley, Rositta Ansel, Susie Ward and Manny, all from Fresno.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clint, and son, Bill Cole.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Kelseyville Cemetery.
A reception to celebrate her life will follow at the Kelseyville Lions Club, 4335 Syler Lane.

Larry Joe Pool was born June 5, 1942, and passed away Nov. 17, 2014.
Joe is survived by a son, Mike Pool of Sandpoint, Idaho; two daughters, Mandy Harley of Nyssa, Ore., and Christy Pool of Central Point, Ore; and grandchildren, Katy Seigler of Zephyer Hills, Fla., Jayne Youtsey of Nyssa, Ore., and Halea and Chandler Shade of Medford, Ore.
Joe grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to the Rogue Valley in 1970.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer and duck hunting, fishing, and was a professional bass fisherman for years.
Joe also enjoyed team roping and calf roping as a younger man.
He was an entrepreneur, starting the restaurant Eddy’s and an embroidery business as well as being an equipment operator.
Joe moved to Clearlake, Calif., in 2005 after the death of his beloved wife, JoAnne. There he pursued his bass fishing and love of the water until moving to Nyssa, Ore., to be close to Mandy and Jayne in 2011.
Joe was an outgoing person and friend to many he will greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Services will be at Conger-Morris Mortuary, Central Point, Ore., at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery where Joe will be laid to rest next to his wife, JoAnne.
