LAKEPORT, Calif. – William Lee “Billy” Woodward of Lakeport passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at the young age of 56, surrounded by family in his home.
Bill was diagnosed with cancer in January 2013 and immediately began chemo and radiation treatments.
He remained courageous and positive throughout his battle, but ultimately succumbed to his disease.
Bill was born and raised in Lakeport and graduated Clear Lake High School in 1975.
He was a mason by trade creating multiple works of art throughout California.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and was always down for a good game of cards with friends and family.
Bill is survived by his son, Joseph (Christoph) Woodward-Jenkinson of Portland, Ore.; brother, Joe (Erin) Woodward of Lakeport; brother, Robert Woodward of Chicago, Ill.; as well as several nieces and nephews, Jess, Quincy, Chris andSuzanna.
He also leaves behind an extremely special friend, Janice Russell. His son would like to thank her for the love and guidance she provided to him and his father throughout this difficult year.
Bill was proceeded in death by his youngest sonn Daniel Woodward, who passed away Sept. 9, 2012. In addition to his son he is also preceded in death by his parents, Russ and Bobbie Woodward.
Bill, being the number guy he was chose to leave this earth on the unique date of 11/12/13.

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Jan Michaelene Holaday, born March 4, 1952, in Longview, Wash., passed away in Clearlake on Nov. 13, 2013.
Jan is survived by her dear friend and companion, Elsie Sinnott, and sisters, Glenna Holaday, Charlene McCarthy and Lynette Yoshikawa.
No services will be held at the request of the family.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Kenneth Crane entered into eternal rest Nov. 2, 2013.
He was born in Daly City, Calif., in 1919 and raised in San Francisco.
Ken was a World War II veteran.
He was a welder for 20 years, then changed his profession to gardening, which was evident just by looking at the beautiful landscaping around his home.
He is survived by daughter, Gail Alden; son, Stephen Crane (Louann); grandchildren, Lisa Alden, Jeff Alden (Amy) and Danette Weller (Steve); great-grandchildren, Levi and Ainsley Weller, Kaylie, Madisyn and Grayson Alden.
He was preceded in death by wife, Audrey; and son-in-law, Jack Alden.
Services will be held at Clearlake Oaks Community Methodist Church, 12487 The Plaza, Clearlake Oaks, at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.
