Janet Elaine Byouer, age 78, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2024.
She was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Slayton, Minnesota to Percival and Mabel {Carlson} Lundberg.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clifton “Cliff” Byouer.
She is survived by her children, William (Chris) Byouer of Juneau, Alaska, Gayle (George) Lovett of Tipp City, Ohio, and Brenda (Jack) Hall of Sunbury, Ohio; and sister, Darlene Payne of Angels Camp, California.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Darriel, Alexis, Kandi, Trevor B, Terra, Cody, Trevor P, Ryan, Andrew and Amber; and great-grandchildren, Estrella, Alexander, Mason, Maverick and Montgomery.
Janet was a proud Marine Corp wife, a great mom and grandma. In addition to her home duties, she worked as a teacher’s aide for at-risk children and at several wineries near her home in Lake County, California.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Julietta Concepcion Lawson, affectionately known as Julie.
She passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 19, 2023, just two days following her 81st birthday.
Julie was well loved and will be missed by all, especially Ben, her husband of 58 years; son, Greg Lawson and his wife Rhonda Philips; daughter, Michelle Balthazar and her husband Joe, and stepson, Aaron Light and his wife Maria.
She was a special grandmother to Trevor, Trent, Benjamin, Gabrielle, Lauren, Elisa, Charlie, Marcos, Loric, Ella and Ian; and four great-grandchildren, Juliette, Emelie, Sophie, and Emelia.
She is also survived by her older sister, Amparo Castellaño in Canada, many nieces and nephews and her loyal pups, Lilly and Chiquita.
Julie was born in Guatemala and migrated to San Francisco at the age of 19. Joined by all of her siblings and parents they worked hard to create a beautiful life in the United States.
Julie had a passion for hosting parties, gardening, anything animal and traveling around the world with Ben. She also worked in many volunteer organizations in Lake County.
We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Lake County for their excellent care and guidance during her last few months.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life potluck will be held at the Keys Club in Clearlake Oaks on Saturday, Jan. 13, from noon to 3 p.m.

1942-2023
LAKEPORT, Calif. — John Chen-Liang Hu was born on Oct. 25, 1942, in Shanghai, China and passed away peacefully at home in Lakeport on Dec. 25, 2023.
John is survived by his loving wife, Lydie X. Hu; his daughter, Elizabeth Hu Chen and husband, Po-Sun Chen; his son, Evan Hu; his five brothers, James, Phillip, Andrew, Paul and Eugene Hu; and 11 nieces and nephews.
His legacy is carried on by his children and four beautiful grandchildren, Gabriel, Galileo, Galahad and Genevieve Chen.
John is predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth Hu, and his beloved sister, Margaret Mu-Chieh Hu Wang.
John lived a long and full life, uncompromising in his beliefs and steadfast in his values, and was loved by many.
He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
