Konocti Unified Board of Trustees meets Jan. 30

LOWER LAKE – The Konocti Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting beginning at 5:15 p.m.


The meeting will be held at the Carol McClung Conference Center, 9430 Lake St., Lower Lake.


Board members are President Herb Gura, Clerk Anita Gordon, and Trustees Carolynn Jarrett, Mary Silva and Hank Montgomery.


Timed items include an student expulsion case at 5:30 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m.

 

Under untimed items, the board will consider a request for the Lower Lake High School Drama Club; several personnel appointments and changes; the share of cost for the Americorps Program Partner/Lower Lake Elementary School Site Agreement; revision to the Lower Lake Elementary School Site Discretionary Block Grant allocating $2,000 for campus beautification; approval of the Automotive Technology Career Pathway Advisory Committee supplemental appointments; and approval of the Career Pathways 1D application for the automotive facility.


The board will meet in closed session to discuss legal, personnel and negotiation matters.


The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees will take place at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 6, in the Carol McClung Center at the district office. A public hearing will be held for the purpose of allowing public input regarding the use of Redevelopment Funds for various projects and text book adoption grades ninth through 12th.
