KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Konocti Lioness Club recently made a generous donation to benefit the students at Kelseyville Elementary School.

With cheers from the children echoing in their ears, Konocti Lionesses Debbie Kellner, Anna Hess and Sharon Higgins donate a check for $1,200 to school librarian Leah Wade.

The money came from two fundraisers, the club’s fashion show and boutique in November and the Christmas basket raffles.

The club offered many thanks to those who donate and to its many sponsors who made the fashion show a great success.

A second check for $1,200 was delivered to Kelseyville Elementary and accepted by Principal Barbara Gleason and librarian Jennifer Wade, again accompanied by cheers from the children.

The motto of the Konocti Lioness Club is "For Kids’ Sake."
