Welcome back to school Carlé. We just got back from spring break. With that we have a lot more dates and opportunities for the students. Our main date is Open House, which will be on Thursday, April 23, at 6 p.m. We ask that if you show, to please try and bring one hot dish to share with the other families. We hope for this to be a fun time for the adults and students of Carlé High School.

There are more events for students to participate in. On Wednesday, April 22, the Carlé choir will be singing for Earth Day. For community service, the Heron Festival will need some students to help set up and clean up as well as help with food booths, and help direct visitors. The festival will be held on April 25 and 26.

On May 2, there will be an Art and Science camp. The camp needs high school students to sign up as a camp counselor. This counselor will help elementary groups with another adult. If you want to sign up for either event, contact Ed Zander at Carlé High School, 707-994-1033.

Carlé High School is now accepting any older computer donations. Our media class at Carlé is now taking old and broken down computers and shifting and making them into brand new computers. These computers that will be made by our media crew will be given to kids and families that are in need of a

computer. If you have any information that could possibly help out Carlé, or if you have any computers that you would like to donate, please contact Carlé at 707-994-1033, and ask to speak with Alan Siegel. Thank you for your consideration.

Another reminder for prom dresses! Carlé is giving away prom dresses that were donated. Prom will be on May 9, so get them before they run out. With that, Carlé is trying to raise money for this year¹s prom. Mr. Zander has a donation box in his office, and if he gets 200 dollars in his box by prom,

someone will be able to give him a Mohawk filmed live at TV 8.

Carlé High School has made a T-shirt for our favorite principal, Ed Zander. Barbara our secretary presented this T-shirt to him because she wanted to thank him for putting his heart and soul into our school. The T-shirt had a collage of all the teacher of Carlé with the writing “Alternative ED” on the

back and front. Thank you Zander for all of your help and hard work at Carlé.
