SNAG hosts Christmas, New Year's gatherings

LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Southlake Never Alone Group (SNAG) of Narcotics Anonymous is hosting an all-day marathon meeting event called the “SNAGathon” on Christmas Day and New Year's Day with recovery meetings running all day long to help support addicts who seek relief from the desire to use drugs during the difficult holiday season.

Meetings begin at 9 a.m. and end at 9 p.m.

Each meeting begins on the hour, with 3 p.m. hour being designated as a “fellowship” hour where participants are welcome to bring food and visit.

This is an “open” event, which means that attendance is not limited to addicts only. People who think they might be addicts, family members and children are welcome to attend. There are no fees to attend Narcotics Anonymous, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs.
