Respiratory care career information night planned

NAPA – Are you looking for a new career?


March 13 is the application deadline for the fall Respiratory Therapy program at Napa Valley College.


Applications will be given out at an information meeting Tuesday, March 3, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in room 802. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Napa Valley College is also offering a First Responder course starting in April. It is an introductory course for those interested in becoming an EMT or ultimately a Paramedic. It’s the prerequisite for EMT 95, the EMT basic class. The instructor is Scott Wood.


The class will run on Sundays for the convenience of those who are employed. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. April 5 to May 17 at the American Canyon Fire Protection District Training Facility, 225 James Rd., American Canyon.
