NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT

LAKE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Department, acting as the reviewing authority, has considered Initial Study 06-87 and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration and will consider approving Minor Use Permit 06-49 for Michael Barrett in accordance with Chapter 21 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to allow a POULTRY PROCESSING FACILITY.  The project is located at 1625 Soda Bay Rd, Finley, CA, and further described as APN 008-007-08

This proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will be available for review in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California thirty (30) days before the adoption of a mitigated negative declaration on or after September 11, 2007. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Community Development Director will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Planning Division of the Community Development Department by 4:00 p.m., September 11, 2007.  Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on September 12, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the office of the Community Development Director, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, Conference Room C, 255 N.
