NOTICE OF PUBLIC REVIEW OF PROPOSED MITGATED NEGATIVE

      DECLARATION AND ISSUANCE OF A GRADING PERMIT 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Department, acting as the reviewing authority, has considered Initial Study 07-34 and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the issuance of a GRADING PERMIT for John and Amy Thorn to clear no more than 23 acres of native vegetation for a vineyard in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Lake County Ordinance.  The project is located at 8170 & 8176 S. Hwy 29, Lower Lake, CA, and further described as APN 009-006-34 & 011-009-99

This Initial Study will be available for review in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California twenty (20) days before the adoption of a mitigated negative declaration and issuance of a grading permit on or after September 4, 2007.  The Planner processing this application is RONALD YODER who may be reached at (707) 263-2221 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
