NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF CEQA DETERMINATION 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public  hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. 

CASE#: GPC 22-09 

OWNER/APPLICANT: COUNTY OF LAKE, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 

REQUEST: To improve public safety by replacing the existing Bartlett Springs Road Bridge over  Bartlett Creek (No 14C0099) (Assessor’s Parcel Number 004-037-15). Bridge #14C0099 is  located in a rural area of northeast Lake County, approximately 13.7 miles northeast of State  Route 20. Bartlett Springs Road is an Off-System Local Road that connects State Route 20 with  the rural area north of the Indian Valley Reservoir. The Community Development Department,  Planning Division is processing the General Plan Conformity (GPC) application. 

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: INITIAL STUDY IS 22-26 

LOCATION: The proposed project is located at Quad: Bartlett Springs T15N, R08W, Section 2  UTM Zone 10 (39.181913, -122.718796)

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3,  Article 5, Section 15063, the County has prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the  proposed project. 

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to be present at the public hearing. All persons may  provide public comment at the time and place indicated above. A staff report will be available for review 72 hours prior to the hearing upon request. If you challenge  the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to  only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence  delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
