Lake County Registrar of Voters: School board seats up for election in November 2009

PUBLIC NOTICE


THE LAKE COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OFFICE, would like to remind the voters of Lake County that a Governing Board Member Election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, to fill the offices of Governing Board Member (for a term of 4-four years unless otherwise indicated) of the following Community College District, County Board of Education and School Districts that shall become vacant on the first Friday in December, 2009 or until a successor is elected and qualifies for office:


Mendocino-Lake Community College District


*Trustee Area No 2, 1 vacancy file in Mendocino County;


**Trustee Area No 5, 1 vacancy file in Lake/Mendocino Counties;


**Trustee Area No 6, 1 vacancy file in Lake County;


*Trustee Area No 4 (2 yr unexp term), 1 vacancy file in Mendocino County



Lake County Board of Education


Trustee Area No 3, 1 vacancy; Trustee Area No 4, 1 vacancy;


Trustee Area 5, 1 vacancy


 

Kelseyville Unified School District, 2 vacancies


Lakeport Unified School District, 2 vacancies


Upper Lake Union High School District, 3 vacancies


Lucerne Elementary School District, 2 vacancies


Upper Lake Union Elementary School District, 3 vacancies


Voters desiring information regarding filing for the elective offices enumerated above may contact the Lake County Registrar of Voters Office (263-2372), Courthouse, 255 N Forbes Street, Room 209, Lakeport during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voters residing in Mendocino County desiring information regarding filing for *Mendocino-Lake Community College District Trustee Area Nos. 2, 4, 5 may contact the Mendocino County Registrar of Voters Office at (463-4371) Please be aware that the filing period begins on Monday, July 13, 2009 and ends on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
