Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, Sept. 1

7:10 a.m. – Significant water leak bubbling up from underground at the Southwest corner of Nylander Center at High Street Mall.


10:06 a.m. – Residential burglary reported on Lakeshore Boulvard; possibly happened in the last couple of days, nothing missing just damage to the door locks. Report taken.


12:34 p.m. – Through interpreter, male employee at Willopoint Resort reports he heard a female near Library Park say she was raped. Subject is near the park with a male. Gone on arrival.


3:03 p.m. – Report of theft of gas from his truck at Library Park near Fifth Street. General services rendered.


3:33 p.m. – A man reported that two men appeared to be taking shopping carts at Grocery Outlet. Unfounded.


4:41 p.m. – Citizens flagged down an officer near Cruikshank Road and Highway 29 and reported two pot-bellied pigs loose right next to roadway. Animal Control called.
