3:40 a.m. – Pedestrian check. Officer Jim Bell and Deputy Jacob Steely initiated activity at Sixth and Forbes streets. Foot pursuit; report taken.

 

8:07 a.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. An anonymous male reports ice on the road near Sunshine Manor, Lakeshore Boulevard and Giselman Street. General services rendered.

 

8:20 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances. Det. Destry Henderson responded to Lakeport Unified School District, Lange Street. Water was reported running for last two days from a nearby house and freezing. This could be a danger for students walking to school. General services rendered; resident notified.

 

9:17 a.m. – Vandalism. Dr. Mark Buehnerkemper reported vandalism to the building, S. Main Street. Report taken.

 

12:12 p.m. – Traffic stop. Det. Destry Henderson and Sgt. Dale Stoebe initiated activity on S. Main Street. Warning given.

 

2:09 p.m. – Welfare check. Det. Destry Henderson responded to report of a 2-year-old sleeping unattended in a car in the alley behind Rico Aroma, Willow Tree Plaza, 11th Street. General services rendered.

 

2:49 p.m. – Civil complaint. Det. Destry Henderson responded to request for civil standby on Ashe Street. There was a restraining order signed today protecting the caller and her baby. Gone on arrival.

 

3:33 p.m. – Followup. Det. Destry Henderson responded to Ashe Street. The caller said an officer was looking for him and he is at home now. Report taken.

 

3:44 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to Curry’s Furniture, N. Main Street. Two subjects are at Third and N. Main streets, holding signs, cussing at people and calling people names. General services rendered.

 

4:46 p.m. – Shoplifter. Sgt. Dale Stoebe responded to Grocery Outlet, S. Main Street. There is an agitated shoplifter in custody. Arrest made.

 

5:53 p.m. – LPD Animal Control Issue. Sgt. Kevin Odom initiated activity at 20th Street. Animal issue. Lakeport PD Animal call.

 

5:58 p.m. – Alarm. The alarm was set off accidentally at the Evidence Building, N. Brush Street. General services rendered.

 

8:09 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Officer Jim Bell responded to report of a male subject in a yellow jacket panhandling and harassing customers in the Kmart parking lot, S. Main Street. General services rendered.

 

9:44 p.m. – Open door. Officer Jim Bell and Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at Lake Parts Services, N. Main Street. General services rendered.
