Zebelean discusses Clear Lake at Sunday presentation

CLEARLAKE OAKS – A special presentation by Dr. John Zebelean on Clear Lake’s perilous mercury pollution and other environmental concerns will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 12:30 p.m. at the Clearlake Oaks Community United Methodist Church.


Dr. Zebelean narrowly escaped communist Yugoslavia in 1962 and has lectured widely on Eastern Europe and Communism. He has many patents and publications to his name and has lectured widely.


Dr. Zebelean has worked on laser guidance technologies and was a pioneer in fusion research at Lawrence Laboratory.

This event is free and open to the public.


The church is located at 12487 The Plaza in Clearlake Oaks. The Plaza is off Highway 20 above Nylander Park.
