CLEAR LAKE STATE PARK – Park docent Glenn Smith will lead a nature walk at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 6.

Meet Smith at the visitor center ramp to begin a morning adventure into early spring happenings in the park.

There is marvelous rebirth after winter rains. Trees will soon be bursting with buds; grasses and other plants will emerge from winter dormancy.

Smith has intimate knowledge of the plants of the park and will share this information. This will be an easy walk, but comfortable shoes are suggested. Rain cancels walks.

The Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association sponsors nature and bird walks throughout the year. There is no park admission fee to join the walks.

The park is located at 5300 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville.
