HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE – After opening day being postponed due to bad weather on March 4, the HVL Men's Niners Golf Club began its 2010 Golf Season on March 11 with 47 club members participating in a low net tournament.

The results were as follows:

• First flight; Joe Whitbeck finished first with the lowest net of the day 33, Dave Mann had 35, and Cliff Hughes and Kevin Martin tied with 36.

• Second flight: Mike Higman had 35, and Al Burrows 36 and Jim Stratton 37.

• Third flight: Wayne Baker was first with 35, and Jim Cary, Mike Casolo, and Jay Hodges tied with 38.

• Fourth flight: Pete Gumina had net 40, and Dennis Day and Bill Lyon tied with 41.

Whether a top finisher or an also ran, everyone had a great time on a beautiful day.
