EUREKA – Caltrans will present details of the environmental mitigation for the Willits Bypass project at a joint meeting of the North Coast Chapter of the California Native Plant Society and the Willits/Outlet Creek Watershed Group.
The meeting is open to the public, and will be held on Wednesday, April 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Little Lake Grange Hall, 291 School St., in Willits.
The presentation will include how native plants and the water quality of the Little Lake Valley will be protected and preserved.
The Willits Bypass project is anticipated to begin construction in January 2011.
