LAKEPORT – The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 88 of Lake County continues its programs to keep children safe on the water.

On June 10 flotilla members Betty Strach and Gary Dromi gave a presentation to students at Lakeport Elementary Schools about water safety and the importance of wearing their life jackets.

A video also was shown on the danger to water life by plastic litter being thrown into the water.
