HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held a two-man, 3X3X3 competition on Thursday, July 22.

Fifty-eight men paired up into 29 teams to compete.

The results were:

• “A” Flight: The team of Tony D'Agosta/Rick Canevari was first with net 29, Mike Casolo/Bill Helt was second at 30 and Dave Mann/Joe Whitbeck was third, 31.

• “B” Flight: The team of Jim Hodges/Jay Hodges posted the lowest net of the competition, 25, while the Phil Tyler/Al Burrows team was second, one stroke back at 26, and Jim Stratton/Bill Stricklan and Sam DeBone/Rick Conrad tied for third with 29.

• “C” Flight: Mill Garrett/Gary Pickrell was first at 26, Doug Carter/Tom Sowell was second at 28, while the teams of Jim DeRosa/Ron Hallman and Mike Riley/Byron Hoss tied for third with net 29.
