LAKEPORT, Calif. – The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 8-8 of Lake County, is offering a boating safety class on Saturday, Aug. 21.

The class will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. downstairs at the Fellowship Hall, 755 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

Anyone interested in learning more about boating safety and seamanship is encouraged to attend this class.

The enrollment fee is $25 which covers the cost of the training book which participants will receive.
