HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club continued with match play and sweeps competitions on Aug. 12.

Fourteen competitors remain in the hunt for club champion in match play.

The sweep results were:

• Purple flight: Stan Kalata was first at net 31, while John Jones, Randy Brown, and Tom Gibbs tied for second with 34.

• Gold flight: Mason Butler finished with 32, and Mike Casolo and Byron Hoss tied at 34.

   

Closest to the par 3 pins were Brian Panizzera and Stan Kalata.

Chip-ins were scored Ron Clark (twice), Carl Dennis, Byron Hoss and Stan Kalata.

Fifty one men participated in the day's events.
